We begin with a free 10 minute call to get to know your project and see if our services would be a good fit for helping you navigate your design dilemmas.

Next, we schedule a 2 hour consultation at your project site. I bring my carefully curated Benjamin Moore large color boards and color wheel, indispensable tools for “measuring” and comparing color. I will help you focus your project priorities, map out decisions, and begin to choose paint colors and finishes.

First, we’ll discuss your design problems, needs, and project.
I’ll get right to the heart of the matter by asking the right questions to determine your priorities, the style and context of your space, and how to navigate your budget.
Next, I will take an inventory of your existing finishes, fixtures, and furnishings and use the large color boards and color wheel to determine exact colors and neutrals. I will take detailed notes and pictures. I like to call this step, “measuring” color. Then we know with clarity what we’re working with, making decisions and online sourcing much easier.
Then, it’s time to find your inspiration and starting point! Paint colors are only part of the equation for a cohesive home design. I know how to guide you to find that perfect rug, artwork, or pattern that will inform your color palette to achieve design goals like updating your space without ripping everything out.

I create visual tools to record my recommendations for you (included in the consultation fee), to be delivered digitally within a week of our consultation. Mood boards provide examples of furnishings, finishes, and specific paint colors so you know what kind of items to shop for and what samples to test. AI assisted renderings of your exterior show you a possible “Before and After” and communicate my recommendations with other decision makers and contractors.
