Next, we schedule a 2 hour consultation at your project site to turn ideas into a clear plan. Together we explore how you want to live in your outdoor spaces, review your budget, and outline project scope and timelines. I will also perform a preliminary assessment of your site conditions to guide beautiful and functional landscape design decisions.

First, we’ll discuss your design problems, needs, and project.
I’ll get right to the heart of the matter by asking the right questions to determine your priorities, the style and context of your space, and how to navigate your budget.
Next, I perform a preliminary site analysis of your existing conditions- everything from sun, soil, wind, and climate to your architecture, materials, and infrastructure constraints. I will take rough measurements, detailed notes, and pictures.
At this point, we transform ideas into a cohesive landscape and garden plan. Together we define style, layout, plant selection, and material possibilities—creating a functional, beautiful design tailored to your goals, site conditions, and budget, ready to guide installation or future project phases.

I will create a recommendation package to document your consultation and show visual examples, including site sketches or AI assisted renderings of your space. All of this is included in the consultation fee and will be delivered digitally within 2 weeks of your consultation.
With a consultation and visual tools, you will have a clear plan for DIY installation and can take on your project yourself.
If you decide you want full- service implementation, we can move on to additional phases: Design Development and Project Management. After you approve my Project Proposal, I will handle the project for you, making everything easy!
